I just had a bit of a weird experience. We were driving and some nut job starts throwing gravel at us. The car just stops with the engine running and refuses to go, while this guy catches up to us and starts head butting the windows. After a while it decided to give us some drive and we get going.

I know jack about cars so I thought I'd ask you guys if this is a protective system or if there's another explanation. It's an automatic if that is any help.

Sounds like the guy used Magic Stones of Immobilisation - Roll a 5 or more on a D6 to continue.

I'm more interested in why you were getting gravel thrown at your car and why someone was headbutting your windows!

Need more info.

But if it went into the grill, it might have taken out an oil cooler or the radiator, this might have meant the car carried on moving till the liquid ran out then it went into limp mode. Go check the fluid levels.

It's the pedal on the right that you should have pressed, not the one on the left.

The right one is called the "accelerator"... it makes the car "go".

The one on the left is called the "brake"... it makes the car "stop".

Try pressing the correct one next time some nutter attacks you ;)

I think this sounds like a case of MB Owner Syndrome.

The car was prompting you to get out and open a can of whoopass on him. Your car will now never perform the same again...
