Would have been better in my mind to have got him alive and either made to suffer in some form, and brought to justice.

Death is the easy way out for these people in my opinion. Either way, the French can now rest easy that a maniac is off their streets.

He's dead?:eek::D sorry i just read the OP then made that stupid comment lol.Im glad his life is over,what kind of sicko would do such a thing. I hate these extremist,i hope one day this sort of thing will be a thing of the past. people should be intelligent enough to read these religious books as a guide to their life and not as a rule book and try to study more then 1 religion so they have a non biased look on things and expand their awareness. People should know whats right and wrong,i feel really sad for the kids and their family :(

I'm openly pro-Arab, and whilst I'd never support Israel for anything it stands for, I don't think there was that much "pro-Israel" slant in the BBC reporting. Unfortunately though the BBC would like to be unbiased, there will always be a little bit of colour added to a debate reporting depending on the leanings of the editor/reporter. I don't think you can cast the BBC as Pro Israel or anti Arab.

I will admit however, that in general the BBC does seem to be more "in bed" with Israeli politics than the plights of the Arabs.

That's why I tend to watch Russia today for news!
 
Israeli, Arab, Martian, it makes no difference. He killed little kids so should be shown no understanding or sympathy whatsoever.
 
I don't understand why the needed to enter his flat, they contained him for 30 hours, he had no hostages, they had cut off his supplies.

I heard on the radio he jumped out the window firing his guns and died on impact with the floor. Don't know how that fits in with the report he was shot in the head by police. Perfect example of why 'Live News' is all sensationalist bull ****. Who cares about the facts, lets just rush out to sell News

You honestly think he would have freely given up info? This is Europe, not America, prisoners know you can't hurt them due to their human rights.

Plus he was most likely just a foot soldier trying to impress the leaders of his "cause", do you really think he would be willing to rat to the French police about other member of his "cause"? And I doubt he knew a lot anyway, Al Queda know there is a 99% chance that the Americans have several spies within their ranks so there is almost no chance that the new recruits will have any meaningful knowledge about the key people in their system.
