*** Official OcUK Minecraft Server - Discussion and Rules ***

I'm working on the Cartos which are taking a very long time with the new file format! Plus the map size has doubled so it may take me a while to get them done.
 
Cartos aren't looking good... The nether took nearly 2 hours to complete using 450 chunks in which I've uploaded it and tried to use Zoom.it which just fails with an "unexpected error".

The normal Map is 1560 chunks! I'll have to do some research into how to make these cartos properly. If anyone knows how to, let me know *cough* Sylvet *cough*. :D
 
Is there any way to lock a chest on a cart? I've started making a little cart system for my chests then realised that if I can't lock them, there's not much point. Especially as my home is set to public so people can use my grinder.

I suspect you probably can't, which is a shame really because I love that idea. It's like the minecraft equivalent of a motorised tie rack!

i can confirm that you cant put a lock on the carts with chests.
would be nice if you could though
 
I'm missing Minecraft, hardly have chance on playing it due to uni work and then filling in time with cycling, maybe get chance in a few weeks hope my building is still there!

If its not a state secret, could I ask what plugins are running on your server? And is it Bukkit?

I like the way yours runs and am assembling a small server (primarily for my brother and I to play on but needing protections in case I allow the kids on too!)

Definitely not a state secret :) Bit busy atm but here's what the plugins folder looks like.

The server has been really laggy recently, blocks respawning, being teleported back/rubberbanding, and other weird stuff.

I couple of other people say they're experiancing the same thing.

Is anything going on?

We seem to be having a ton of spammers atm. I'm trying to update some of the decent anti-spam plugins to work with the latest version of BuddyPress.

Earlier today I put dynmap on there to test. I would've hoped the initial render would've finished by now. *has a look*

edit: Should be sorted now. Let me know.
