Couple of questions i wanna ask:
How well does it run and what is your system specs?
Are all quests truelly dynamic and not like 9/10 mmo's where it tells u where to go to find a quest giver and quest giver then tells u to go to some part of the map with a guide(ie holding your hand throughout the game?).
How big is the game world? is it seamless? not instance based like gw1?
What about combat animation? is it dynamic like Age of conan instead of the usual click click click auto attack? lots of different combat animations?
What about game dialogs? does all NPC'S have actual speech dialog or is it text based like WOW?
Last but not least, can u tel me the bad things about the game(if any?)
thanks in advance and would be very grateful if you can reply! im a massive GW1 fan!
I had a quick go yesterday.
Game runs fine on my system in Sig, was not as smooth as wow/rift but i did have everything completely maxed out. Better than Star wars if you played that!
The few starting area quests I did were pretty much like every MMO, which is to be expected I guess at early levels, but a few decent quests popped up randomlly as events as i was exploring, stop an invasion etc.
Game world looks nice, it's definitely going to be large. There are a few instances though, stuff like caves and different parts of a city are instanced but i think thats because they are race/background story specific.
Combat is again pretty much your standard mmo - animations looked decent but i only got to level 4 and didnt have much variety. Skills/Traits etc look very impressive though and i can tell already that it will be very good.
Skipped all the quest dialog so cant answer this. My time was limited.
Didn't notice anything that bad to be honest, a few things were a bit confusing at first, as i didnt play GW1 either, but any MMO fan will be able to play it.
In summary im very excited about it. It looks to have amazing character development and offer some very fun content at end game, specifically tournament pvp which im very keen on trying. If you are a fan of mmos then i can definitely recommend looking at this seriously as i cant imagine it disappointing.
