Spec me a Leather Computer Chair

Would like a new leather swivel computer chair, But can't decide what brand to go for, Preferably with arm rests and a highish back, Don't mind paying a bit more if its really nice

Why?

You can get much better for the same money. All be it bankrupt stock or slight seconds.

The markus has poor support and below par build quality.

I second this wholeheartedly. I've had mine since August and don't regret picking it over a leather chair for even a second.

Summer is coming up. Leather will get hot and sweaty after 2 seconds of sitting in it.

Reaper392 kept going on about it, so I had to take a walk to a local store and see what the fuss was about, blown away!!

Don't own one, but can dream.

For the money its good, and if you need THAT much support you need a chiropractor and learn how to sit right at a desk and not slouch.

Funny how so many seem to like it.

Because those that like it i would guess are coming from £20 staples chairs or £50 "executive" chairs. So of course it's better than those. Most of theses people have probably never used a decent task chair or office chair so have no reference. But as i said you can get much better for your money.

Well ive came from private offices where they have spent hundreds on chairs ( as and when they need them), for all IT people Design people, and didn't notice anything, but then I never slouch at my desk and never really have to lean back as that only screws your posture up.

I have to agree a little, but

I purchased the ikea markus after reading everyone raving about it but unfortunately it is extremely uncomfortable. Buying a chair is an individual think, good for some and bad for others. So i don't think the chair is rubbish but not suitable for me.

try before you purchase, and i mean go and sit in the chair for few hours at least.
