I always think that those who fly in these areas should always fly ducted, there haven't been any newsworthy accidents yet but if it did happen the tabloids would be all over it. " Geek cuts off old ladies finger with flying death machine".
I am still flying my quadcopter LOS, one of the problems with them is that it's hard to know the orientation so I think vtail is a better design but I hope to be flying FPV soon. I have a massive green space next to my house but it's next to a major road so I can't fly FPV there only LOS.
