What to take to a group of people that haven't been in the uk for months

Make sure they finish it before you come back so you can get the bottle deposit!
 
I always miss marmite, proper bacon and shreddies. I normally get someone to bring me a pot of the former and the latter I can get my fix when I'm in Canada.
 
Tea bags, brown sauce and Cadbury chocolate. Definitely the most sought after items within the ex-pat community when I lived over in Germany for 3 years.
 
Or basically, take the ingredients for a nice ploughmans lunch and some bottles of real ale to wash it down.

I suggest some cheddar and stilton. Crusty bloomer bread, norfolk ham, hard boiled egg, pickled onions and Branston pickle.

Mind you, may be a struggle to get it out there fresh :D
