Liverpool Sack Comolli

You got the wrong man Liverpool!

But hey keep holding up Kenny as king and finishing down the table :D I can understand the fans wanting to stay behind but blind faith from the club is just wrong, luckily we had Cashley who is completely ruthless to get rid of Keegan which was a great thing for us.

Yep, they were bonkers to sack Hodgson.

Or maybe the owners are annoyed that the man they put in charge of the purse strings wasted so much $$$ on Carroll and Downing.
Sure perhaps Kenny has final say on who he wants, but DOF's job is to control in, outs and expenditure and the fees paid for those two were nothing short of epic fail.

Why cause any sort of unsettlememt before Saturday? What an absolutely thick decision.

No idea who had more say on the transfers but there is more than one fall guy here.

Good to see NESV aren't afraid to take decisions such as this. We've been embarrassing this season and something had to be done before the summer. If it had been Kenny rather than Comolli I don't think he would've had a leg to stand but this decision won't have been taken without good reason. Having said that, I'd still like to see Kenny move aside in the summer and allow a fresher manager to take us forwards.

Edit: Anyway, let the thread wrecking commence.

Not think the timing is a bit dumb? Causing unsettlememt and questions before our semi in 2 days.

Makes sense if the owners want a new direction but are keeping the DoF/Coach dual position set-up - you may as well get a new DoF guy in now in time for the transfer window to open up but it's pretty pointless binning your manager 6 games before the end of the season with silverware still on the table.

Shocked by this to be honest, but it was either going to be him or Kenny.

I suspect things happening behind closed doors was the ulitmate reason he went.
