Grand National this weekend, anyone putting any bets on?

I'll throw this one in here.........the winner 3 years ago was the 100/1 outsider. Think it'll happen again :p

Black Apalachi @ 40/1 E/W
Ballabriggs @ 12/1 E/W
Shakalakaboomboom @ 14/1 E/W

Got a footie bet so waiting to see if that comes up tonight will determine how much goes on this weekend. Had a nice winner earlier though  - Always Waining at 10/1 missed its price at 12/1 though

Schumacher to win the F1 looks like a good bet this weekend too :D

Ballabriggs for me. Can handle the course and has a great trainer/ jockey combo of the legendary McCain family and Maguire (an extremely talented jockey) on board. My only worry is the ground. Doesn't like it too soft, so hopefully the rain stays away. If the rain continues, then Giles Cross could be a nice each way punt. Carries a good weight as well. Don't forget, you get 5 places in the National.

Sorry to burst your Seabass bubble, but a female jockey has never won the national, and wont this time either. They don't have the power to drive a horse in the final mile when it's knackered.

My 100/1+ shots would have to be Midnight Haze and Vic Venturi.

Going to make a bet tomorrow morning. £5 on Syncronized and another £5 on seabass "KICK HIS ***SEABASS"

I don't think Synchronised will even finish the race. He was puffing badly towards the end of the gold cup and really looked like he only had another 2 furlongs max in him. He's got to go nearly another mile here over higher fences.

National is one of those events were anything can happen 20/1 30/1 horses can win, No other horse has won back to back since Red Rum so going with favourite and tips is pointless

Got £5 Junior and 3 horses in a £1 ticket sweepstake

£20 Win - According to Pete @ 33/1
£10 Win – Shakalakaboom @ 14/1
£10 Win – Planet of Sound @ 28/1
£10 Win – Always Right @ 28/1
£2.50 E/W – Seabass @ 22/1
£2.50 E/W – Killyglen @ 18/1
10x £1 Tricasts

Oh well, once a year flutter :D
