I must admit for me this is a non issue as from the games that I've played that have GFWL (GTA IV, Dawn Of War 2, Dirt 2 and Flatout UC) I have never encountered problems either, in fact I've had more issues with steam than GFWL.

Also I do not hate the service.

I think you need to look up the word Troll.
People expressing that they like something and want the game is not being a Troll.
But now I know in your head that if I disagree and express I like something that someone else does not, I am a Troll.
Awesome, I still like GFWL and own many GFWL games without one single issue. This is changing all my hardware and ISP and GFWL still logs in and works 100%. But thanks for your Troll input, it was a cool story.

Must admit GFWL isn't the slickest of the slick by any means, but I can't say I've ever had any major problems with it, it's never put such a spanner in the works that I've not been able to play, Resi 5, GTA IV, Fallout 3 etc.
Couldn't careless whether Dark Souls becomes a GFWL game or not, aslong the game is good & well ported then i'll be happy.

I like the fact it makes it easy to talk to my xbox friends when gaming. Shame you can't add games to it like you can with Steam and use it's overlay.

Signed, GFWL is an abomination.
The video in the first post sums it up well, it's not perfect but certainly no excuse to not buy a game or not pay for it(bar the regional restrictions) and it's not going to get changed at this stage.
My main concern just now is that the PC gets factored into future development. Right now it just looks like the PC crowd are more trouble than they are worth before the game is even out.
In my ideal world it wouldn't be on GFWL or steam.

We do not accept any old **** they throw our way, nothing wrong with that.
They are not a mod team doing it for free, they are doing it for profit.

I do love this whole "Oh my god a developer listened to it's fans and brought a game to PC, oh wait, they didn't do it EXACTLY like we wanted, BURN THEM!".

Ah well, I'm happy in knowing that chances are the people bitching and moaning the hardest will probably be amongst the first to buy it whatever software it's on.
Look, if you don't like GFWL so be it, don't buy the game, that is fair enough, however don't act like somehow From are intentionally trying to be ass holes. Not only did they never intend to bring the DS franchise to PC to begin with, they also stated they had no intention of bring out DLC/extra content, both of these things they have decided to do, neither of them as simple as pushing a button. Give them some credit and stop acting like spoiled children.

Yeah I agree, as I will buy it whatever, just if it is on GFWL I won't be buying it immediately - i'll wait for a sale.
Some people are not happy with whatever, we just need to accept that they aren't and move on.
However most the people signing here aren't like that, and the only reason they are is because of the reasons in the video. Many people have had issues with it in the past that prevented them from playing a game they wanted. Of course this will make them angry because they can't play something they've bought purely because of GFWL. Why would anyone blame them for not being happy about a game they've asked for being put on the same service?

I remember you mentioned you somehow couldn't play games using GFWL, would you care to expand on your problem?
