I would go for the hankook V12, £40 cheaper per set for the same performance.
Depends how you define performance, the PE2 have a stiffer wall and last longer

As thats rather two different things.
I've not personally tried the V12, but know friends that have had both,
and also going by reviews/tests i've seen comparing the two.

They came out identically? Could you link to these?
They actually came out better in testing than the PE2 in dry/wet grip and braking. I could probably link to them if i could be bothered, but alas, i can't.

Sooooooooooo PE2 will feel nice and sharp upfront? Car feels **** the now as the tracking is out since I said Hi to a kerb.
I was very happy with the PE2, even on track it wasn't terrible, especially for a road tyre. The V12 isn't cheaper because its worse, its cheaper because its not made by a company as big as Michelin.

It's only a tenner in it for me though so not that much of a saving.

The V12 appears to come 2nd from bottom. The PE2 is 5th.
I make it £230 for the V12 fitted and £260 for the PE2 fitted?
I'll only be doing the fronts as the rears are nearly new T1Rs from February.
So £120ish vs £128ish for the Michelin.
Makes sense to go for the PE2 for the sake of £8 then. Do they make CS3 in 195/50?
Nope, they start at 16" so maybe when I get some Rota Grid drifts in 16x8 I can get the PS3.
