I don't see the point in the thread.
You got it at a fairly decent price, though it's likely a crappy PSU.
Could you have gotten it cheaper? What type of question is that.

Surely this is advertising a competitor.
You've even named the competitor which is against the forum rules.

Do people really need to know what case it is?

Well, i did'nt get it from there...
got it from some e-tailer (forgot the name)
the case was called generic prowler
when it came it was 'the space...'
Also why would I advertise???
I have almost 250 posts. Why would I go on these forums and waste my time just advertise.......
EDIT: Also I did'nt hear about 'THE SPACE...' untill the case arrived.
+Why should you be bothered. Why???
EDIT2: Finally why would I browse the OcUK forums and post etc and look at parts and spec check on there and price check
on there if I was advertising.

You don't really and what does it matter?

It doesn't matter if you meant to advertise or not, you're stating the name of a competitor and it is against the rules

Examples of promotion are :-
  • Posting links to competitors websites
  • Posting links to reviews that promote competitors
  • Quoting the names or contact details of competitors
  • Offering to provide the names or contact details of competitors
  • Hinting about product availability at competitors and their pricing
  • Using the forums to notify a member of intent or actual supply of names or contact details of competitors
  • Listing competitors names, URL's or e-mail addresses in signatures
  • Listing competitors names, URL's or e-mail addresses in profile
  • Posting links to or the mentioning of auction sites
  • Disguising attempts to do any of the above

Yet you let people say thebay????
Why is it always me who gets yelled at...
Also I'm not sure how I'm advertising???
Did I post a large banner???
Did I post links???
I just wanted to find out if I got a good system for a good price...
EDIT: Happy I changed it....

No need to be defensive. He is just stating the rules, which everyone should keep to - it wouldn't matter who wrote it the react would most likely have been the same.

I know your intention was not to advertise, but even mentioning them is against the rules - it's easy enough to remove the name from the first post then we can forget about it :)

The auction site rule is quite slack really as pretty much everyone on earth has heard of it.

The fact is: you posted the name of a competitor which is not allowed.

And yes, you got a very good deal.

=(
I know the rules, but whenever I mentioned that case before no-one said anything.
Sorry, I have a short temper and if someone says anything against me I get sad + angry.
