Win Counter Strike: Global Offensive BETA!

I would like to have CS:GO because I played CS:S a lot when I was younger and had my own clan at one point, I would love to get to that level of play again

I would like to have CS:GO because, I have been playing counter strike since the very early days (WANID) and it's a game I haven't stopped playing since.. I love the game and I still feel there is no game that compares to the competitive feel off counter strike. It has a niche in the market and I'm really hoping that CS:GO will bring back the good old days of 1.6 style leagues and cups. I have played all varieties of counter strike from original to condition zero to CSS. And of course I still feel 1.6 is THE best fps game there is.. period. So I would love a beta invite to this game because I feel I have played the game long enough to be able to give honest opinions on the game play and how to improve it for everyone is the long run.

Wow you must have been pretty young when you were playing in the wanid days  . Good times though playing on the 56k modem against the cool kids with the new adsl 512k connection :D

I have a key spare if anyone wants to make an offer for one. Not looking for much.

To be honest I think people will be REALLY disappointed with this game. It is inconceivably bad, considering the FPS pedigree it comes from.

I would like to have CS:GO because I am sick to death of not getting invited to these things despite being active on their current game. Valve, you've changed.

Its being updated on a regular basis as far as i can tell. It wont go open beta till its more well rounded.

The movement and shooting sucks, to be frank, compared to CS: Source (which itself was a pale copy of pre-Source CS). It feels really bulky and just... not right. Like the engine itself has been changed in some way. It doesn't feel refined, in my opinion/experience.

Key spare for one of us to give it ago then? :D

I'm looking forward to it to be honest, I'm not a huge 1.6 vs source guy though. I enjoyed both of them for what they are and you almost have to test them as different games/series. CS:GO seems even more so spin-off from the series and a way for Valve to test live game changes (weapon prices, stats etc) and multi platform gaming.

Still looking forward to give it ago whenever I get my key, if I can ever get one!!!

I would like to have CS:GO because..well FPS Doug says it best..

"So yeah I like FPSes. Uh, what can I say? There's nothing like the rush of huntin' people down and killin' 'em! I mean my heart's beating-- my heart's beating! My hands are shakin'-- my hands are shakin'! But I'm still shootin'! An' I'm still gettin' headshots! It's like, boom! Headshot! Boom! Headshot! BOOM! HEADSHAAAAAAT!"

You want to sell a beta key? poor show, just give it to someone its not like it cost you anything.

I would like to have CS:GO because due to my arm (see pic below) I cannot play on my pc properly, I cannot hold a mouse in my right hand. Left to browse on the gfs laptop.

However come May 1st the cast is coming off and I cant wait to start my PC gaming rehabilitation, and what better way than playing on CS:GO :D
