I think its about 5-7k for deldrimor remnants, but hero armour ugrades are so easy to get that I wouldnt recommend spending plat on them rather than something else.

I'm getting incredibly frustrated with Arena-Net / NCSoft's ****** account management for this game. Can anyone link me to the page to change your account password? Thus far the official Guild Wars Support pages link to NCSoft's Asian website (i.e. indecipherable) and the english NCSoft website doesn't have a long-enough 'Account name' field to fit my entire email address? This is pretty ****-poor tbh.

So you have to contact their human support to change your password? That's really going to work well when the 1 million-odd Beta sign-ups want to get password help! It's really amateur for a game with such high-hopes and hype, tbh...
I changed mine this morning through my account page? stop being an angsty kid and just go login and change it.

But if its too long it wont work with GW1 anymore if your accounts are linked.
I wanted to play more GW1 today and updating my password stops me from logging in. NCsoft master accounts limit how many characters your username and password can have which is just stupid.

BTW - The old beta launcher is working, self updates and clears gwstream.dat. If you kpe yours start it up!

I didn't say that. You're having technical problems, the obvious thing to do would be to contact their support rather than complaining on a totally unrelated forum.
No company's perfect but unless you've dealt with their support, you can't really be too angry at them, everyone makes mistakes. If they refuse to acknowledge it or treat you badly, fair enough, but having problems with changing your password doesn't make them a bad company.

So who is going to be in charge of making the OCUK guild for GW2 then?
It looks like being a part of a decent guild really reaps noticeable benefits in GW2, and as long as it doesn't just fade into obscurity after a few weeks, I'll definitely join the guild.
