UEFA Champions League/Europa League 24/25/26 April *** Spoilers ***

Did the sky team play the wrong interview? Terry didn't admit anything. he said it looked bad but that he was "protecting himself".
A disgrace. And feel sorry for him? What?

Barca didn't need a plan B, they didn't play their plan A, they simply needed to play their plan A and they've have thrashed them.

Go look at the 5-0 Barca vs Real game, and most of Barca's best performances, you have teams defending for their lives in the same way as Chelsea with one key difference. Against Barca basically all the goals came from passes both diagonally inbetween the defenders, or over the top but always to either, Messi, Villa, Pedro who would run along the back line then turn and run in behind, the second they turn the pass from Xavi would ping in brilliantly and bang, goal. Running at the defence, tonight, in the first leg and against Real, Messi stood 10-20 yards from the CB's and made almost no runs at them all night, his work is happening 30 yards back from 99% of his best play in the past 4 years. Sanchez spent most of his time standing next to a CB, utterly static, and giving Xavi nowhere to pass the ball to. The utter lack of movement meant CHelsea had a ridiculously easier time than they should have, to cover runs, cover movement and not have to fill gaps as players move to track runners.

Barca didn't come close, anywhere near their plan A, plan A would have worked, they've forgotten how to play it.

LOl Neville noise, has to go down as one of the greatest commentary celebrations ever :D

Its refreshing having him as a commentator, really seems like he is enjoying it and having the time of his life and this just improves the commentary :)

Unbelievable, what an incredible result. Hats off to Chelsea, they were excellent tonight, particularly considering the lack of any proper CBs. However, John Terry can **** off, continuing to lie when it was so blatant just makes him look like more of a tool. You can even see in the replay of the incident he has a malicious facial expression, so so blatant, and his explanation of what he was doing or trying to do is just comical.

Fingers crossed Cahill is fit for the final, otherwise they won't have much of defence! Ramires is the biggest loss imo though.

Barca didn't need a plan B, they didn't play their plan A, they simply needed to play their plan A and they've have thrashed them.... blah blah blah.

To be honest mate, I'm a big fan of yours when you're talking pc architecture but please stick to that! ;)
It wasn't Barca failings that cost them over 2 games, it was the fact that Chelski packed the edge of the box with bodies so Barca couldn't play through 'em. Dead simple and effective really as Chelski did it so well.
Barca played their plan A, and I bet they wish they had a big centre forward now as a plan B.

I am so happy Chelsea one. :)

Even though I am a 14 year season ticket holder at West Ham United. :p Nice to see someone beat Barcelona.

All this talk of a Barca having a plan B, what else could they have done? Not a trolling question, i just don't know the answer. :o

Shots from distance. They don't have a Ronaldo-type player who can blast it from 40 yards and make the ball go spazzy but several of them are capable of accurate shots from 20 yards or so. They just wanted to keep passing it instead. On the same note, there were opportunities for players to take defenders on, and they just stopped and passed it. Obviously this is Messi's forte, but if he's not having a good game then someone else has to try and go round players to get behind the defence.
Avoid playing kids with no experience of a tough CL semi-final unless unavoidable.
Crosses into the box (they did this successfully earlier in the season - scored a few headers)
Exploiting the fact Torres was useless tracking back when he came on, they had acres of space on the left to cut around. Kept playing pass the parcel.
