UEFA Champions League/Europa League 24/25/26 April *** Spoilers ***

Ah okay;

--------------Cech--------------
Bosingwa--Luiz--Cahill--Cole
--------------Essien--------------
--------Mata------Lampard----
Sturridge---Drogba---Malouda

Yeah not so good :o :p

Even that assumes that both Luiz and Cahill are fit. Cahill looked like he pulled something and Luiz looked in a pretty bad way when he came off last week (no idea when he'll be back) and the final's only 3 1/2 weeks away.

I dont think chelsea will like either team in the final. Jose gives them the heebies and bayern will be on home turf (a little unfair considering).

Naturally I wouldn't fancy them against RM or Bayern but they've proven everyone wrong tonight.

Bertrand--Essien--Bosingwa--Cole
--------------Romeu--------------
--------Mata------Lampard----
Sturridge---Torres---Drogba

Think that is how it would have to go if Luiz/Cahill aren't fit, which looks, dodgy to say the least. Romeu looked good earlier in the season, definitely promising but has barely played recently and looked no where near his best.

Torres is a bigger threat than Malouda, who is a lazy, selfish, moronic idiot, Malouda is god awful defensively, so Drogba holding up the ball and also having the ability to win it and play it on for Torres seems the smartest move all around.

They could put in Ferreira at right back and try Bertrand in midfield as a somewhat defensive midfielder with a bit of pace and attacking ability, and play Mata over on the right instead of Sturridge who, like Malouda isn't good defensively, is selfish and has had more poor performances than good this season.

Its a very thin squad, Luiz, Cahill or both being fit for the final will make a monumental difference for them.

After the performances we've put in I think that we won’t be too bothered about who it is and of course they won't be relishing the prospect having to play us. With a one-off game we’ve got as good a chance of winning it as they will have. Bring it on.

I feel really sorry for Ivanovic, he looks really upset here.

Geoff Shreeves, you're a ****!

And now we go live to Geoff Shreeves...

Indeed. You only have to look at their scoring stats this season to see that the spread is waaaaay out of wack compared to the previous couple of years when their front three had a truly crazy amount of goals each. It's all Messi this season, then I think Fabregas and Xavi are the next highest with under 15 each.

Pep's turning into tinkerman?

I know Villa has been out for most of the season but the shape's different now (as DM said in an earlier post)... I'd be interested to see Xavi's assist rate compared to last year, for example.

The kids they have seem like mini-Pedros rather than Xavi/Iniesta types, and when I see Sanchez play I feel like there's something sort of un-Barcery about him.
