aye I try avoid them, not that have anything against them on the whole, it just seems the worst type always join some of their guilds. In both AoC and DC there was just a unbelievable amount of glitching and hacking by one particular Russian guild, now I know they all not like that but once bitten twice shy!

Take that with a pinch of salt TBH, I will stick with my choice for the duration of beta at least then maybe put it to a guild vote. Just remember the people putting the comments also have a agenda.
 
What conceivable reason would anyone have for preferring to roll on a server with reddit *****? Aren't they notoriously terrible at gaming? Have fun playing WvWvW with a bunch of people more interested in yelling out memes in the chatbox than actually killing anything.

True, if its a french or german server it doesn't mean it will be exclusively that language, but the gaming communitys and clans assoiciated with that lauguage are planning to try and group, play together on that perticular sever.

It would just be a shame if you picked a sever who's major population you couldnt communicate with, which would suck for a 2 day MMORPG beta weekend no ? :p


Edit: i will add that from my experience, the majority of gamers i have played with in europe have a better grasp of english than most in the uk though

The cesspit of internet clichés and stock-phrases and in-jokes and mouth-breathing and neck-bearding. You get the idea. Everytime you get killed on a server with a reddit player I imagine they'll be asking you constantly "u mad bro?" or circle-jerking and s******ing. It's a pretty intolerable atmosphere if you're 18+.

True :D, dunno how I would survive those 2 days :p, I will stick with FoW as in swtor they got all the severs and who would be it mostly wrong anyway.

I don't have a problem with them at all, would rather be on the same server as them than be with GW2Guru or 4Chan crowd. I can't stand 4Chan and feel it is much much worse than Reddit.

Looking at that list the majority of the EU/English Speaking crowd will be on Whiteside Ridge.

It's only for beta aswell, not bothered about release as there is no date as of yet.

Not in beta so it's a moot point, but wouldn't play on the Something Awful server either.
 
My mate's going to let me use his account, will that be O.K? I'm downloading the game now but i'd like to make sure i'll be able to play this weekend on his account or are accounts locked to PC's?
