Bmw fans, V8, e30

Hi there, I will do a full write-up at some point but some of you were asking for me to post a few photos of my bmw e30 m60b40 engine conversion. I have used the engine and gearbox from a e34 540sport 6 speed. The e30 isn't completely finnished yet but not far off now. But here is a few pics to keep you going and will do a proper write up over the weekend!

It was built for trackday/driftdays and a weekend car. The ammount of custom parts required that we had to fab up was a lot more than I thought and on a whole cost a lot more than I thought but I am really really pleased with how it drives and how well it goes down the road. And it drifts really well.
 
I will post some more pics and videos, but it certainly is very good fun! A whole load of work but well worth it when your driving it down the road, just got to get it sprayed now.
 
Brakes, 4 pot with 300mm discs and red stuff pads, braided lines all round,
suspension coilovers with stronger springs and shocks, car is fully polybushed.
 
I'd say this is verging on sleeper territory, but that shell is so immaculate that it isn't really. Great job! Any details on the build?
 
I dislike those wheels intensely, they really don't suit the car. Sorry.

Which engine did the E30 have to begin with? Was it a 325 sport so you already had the LSD? Or did you buy one and fit it?

Azev A? Are you kidding me? Proper "old skool" and will look even better if spaced out and the car gets lowered.

@OP, had it going in anger yet? Car will be very different with the extra weight up front. Keep the pics coming!

These are the sorts of projects I'd love to do, certainly in the case of the V8 as it keeps the car looking stock (apart from choice of wheels really, but so many are not on stock wheels) but gives it an amazing sound track and makes it mentally fun.
