Kingston HyperX, witch is best.

for a long time the HyperX Blu and HyperX Genesis was the same price and i used both a lot when making systems for myself and friends but i notice now HyperX Genesis as gone up a little in price is this down to the Genesis's performance been better than HyperX Blu or is it just just pricing

but am i right in thinking when running at 1600mhz Blu is @ 1.5V and Genesis is @ 1.65V.

The specs say 1600Mhz [email protected] for both of them,

edit, the Greys have an XMP profile it seems.

Indeed they do have an extreme profile. I've used that RAM quite a lot, the grey is actually metallic, it looks a dull matte in the pic. Is a nice neutral shade that doesnt look out of place no matter the colour of the mobo, GPU etc

Both looks the same, but yes by the looks of it the grey one has the edge.
