**Trials Evolution weekly time trial thread**

Dies this have to be a clean run or can we fall off? (I think falling off is what i do best!)

Well I've just now got 0 faults 51.262 and it's overwritten my time of 1 fault and 49.598, so if it's going on just time alone we'll have to trust what people say they have got.

Can't even beat a minute, just can't get this track at all. No idea how people are getting to that platform from the first lift. I did it once and I have no idea how, everything I've done since has me falling about 3m short. The end section is horrible too, those random rollers just seem to break up the flow of the track completely :/

It's tricky to get right most of the time, but I try to enter it slowly, and when the lift is approx half way up, accellerate fully. Sometimes my back wheel isn't on the ground properly so I end up missing it.

You can always practice it for a bit by pressing B, to find something that works most of the time.

Try a bit of acceleration with a bunny hop, it will propel you further off the lift.

I agree about the rollers at the end, they spoil the track, the rest of it is brilliant though.

Managed to get 9th best overall earlier, probably slipped down by now though.

I've added the few tags from I didn't have from the first post and I've started chipping away at it... so far.. so poo.

I can't seem to get you added Musty Pie, it says your handle is invalid, with or without the space. I'm fairly new to gold so I might be noobing somehow.

I think I'm done with this track, as others have said, the rollers ruin it as there just doesn't seem to be a reliable way to nail that section. I've watched some of the fastest time replays and they just seem to go full speed over them but I can't help feel it's just pot luck which is a real shame as the rest of the track can be done on skill alone.

I've having most problems with the first lift, when I fluke that I'm ok and rely on what I know needs to be done to get to the rollers.

Tips on the first lift and getting on to the elevated shortcut anyone?

49.726 for my first faultless run.

EDIT: Cut that down to that to 46.008 and I think I can do better if my resolve holds.

Updated.

Just lol at my time tbh, agree about those rollers.
Need to give this a propper go one evening,30 min blast tonight and i was wishing my controller was rubber to cause less damage when i threw it! :D

well after what seems like forever i have finally got under one minute.

57.261 with 1 fault.

Rob I have no idea how you managed to get that time but it is truely epic. Even watching your ghost I stil have no idea how you managed it.

I think if i can get the first shortcut I could go sub 50 but it is the horrible last section which seems to screw up my time.

To get a good time you need a bit of luck and a lot of practice. A couple of hour's worth maybe to work out the quickest way over every obstacle (even the rollers) and then stringing it all together.
