want to put some muscle on recommend some products?

I cant pinch much fat anywhere except the front of my stomach. I dont know what the hell you guys are talking about. I need a belt to wear 34" trousers, I'd wear 32" but they are usually too tight on my thighs/bum. I'm not "shredded" by any means (btw most of the shredded pics you guys buy into, the dudes are loaded up on diuretics), but I know I'm not fat.
I agree, you're not fat, any suggestion that you are is an exaggeration to prove a point. The point being that you're not such an epic specimen that it simply forces people to take notice of your ramblings.

In fairness you have a decent base to work from, and if you had a real go at doing things in what is widely accepted as being the 'right' way (and by widely I mean far beyond the scope of this forum) I've no doubt you'd achieve some impressive results. Of course there's not a chance in hell this would happen, but until you do have results that rival those you just posted, don't expect anybody to take your crackpot routines and training philosophies seriously.

(btw most of the shredded pics you guys buy into, the dudes are loaded up on diuretics), but I know I'm not fat.

Actually no. Most of the 'shredded pics you guys buy into' are members on this very forum actually. :)

Not meaning that as a direct insult, but please stop telling everyone that they're idolising Ronnie Coleman all the time or something :p

Kwerk - these are the facts.

The OP wants to bulk up a bit and build some muscle.

The best way? Eat more, train harder. |What you need to train is heavy compounds with decent volume to build some muscle.

For this exercises like, deads, chins, squats, BORs, bench and such are ABSOLUTES for developing strength, mass and power. This is EXACTLY what the OP wants kwerk. If he keeps doing his thai boxing he'll keep his fitness and conditioning but add some decent mass.

Oh and I do lots of deads, chins, BORs etc...

This is how you can look if you work out hard:

That's by doing REAL exercises. None of the BS you're talking about. So kindly stop trying to prove a point, because all you're posting is complete tripe.

Oh and I'm NOT a bodybuilder, I'm a weightlifter, after strength and power, and bloody strong I am too.

What the hell are you on about - no one here idolises these people. People idolise those that have achieved some amazing results, without drugs or illegal supplementation. Yes a lot of people do do illegal items, but not all do, and those of us that do idolise these people, know a thing or two - and what they do to achieve these results are good proper solid decent exercises - none of the stupid things you're mentioning.

Look at my morbidly obese bingo wings. So obese they have stretch marks down them. Actually the stretch marks are from when I bothered to train arms for hypertrophy years ago using my inept and dangerous knowledge of exercise. btw I made the best gains with mostly machines and never training to failure! And I didn't rush home from the gym with a pump to take a pic the way I expect you do.

Looks athletic enough to me but what do I know.

Again, I don't claim to be a bodybuilder.

And I have no stretch marks on my gut, only on my arms and thighs. You know where obese people like me traditionally hold the most fat.

I'm glad you didn't train to failure as you really shouldn't. Did you actually know that or are you just putting out terms and expressions that you heard?

So you used just machines? Then you ARE after the vanity and bodybuilder dream as you won't be very strong I can guarantee that.

So what about stretch marks? That doesn't mean anything.

Really you've got to stop posting dude. Or at least don't post with authority on stuff you don't know THAT much about.

Kudos to you for having lost fat and making a good start to your lifestyle change - you can't and nor would I want to take that away from you. But you really don't engratiate yourself with your peers when you waltz in throwing a few bits of jargon around which makes absolutely no sense and the basis of your arguments are not logical or flawed.

Athletic? That has to be a joke.

From what you described, you are by definition a bodybuilder. Athletes don't (or shouldn't) be using machines, and they certainly don't (shouldn't) care about the size of their arms or train them directly.

Arms size is probably the WORST proxy for athleticism.

Keep setting them up and we'll keep knocking them down ;)

Wait, if we are comparing stretch marks as a sign of greatness, I think I'm in with a shout of winning.

ok different lighting, I'm such a failure I only have 4 bathrooms in my house):

maybe you guys could give me some tips on getting rid of those saggy man boobs? I've been doing lots of dips but they've actually been getting bigger

obvious obliques are obvious. (so is obvious belly fat I KNOW).

I want to LOOK athletic, not do sports. I have no plans of going on a stage in a thong or showing myself off to other dudes, except I suppose for this argument.

But anyway plenty of athletes use the hell out of machines. I see the local college football players at my gym using machines all the time. Smith machines, leg press, basically every hammer strength machine, even the pec fly machine. These are the guys who will potentially be drafted to the NFL after college.

Most sprint cyclists, skiers, speed skaters, olympic sled, etc all do hundreds and hundreds of leg press reps for example.

Football guys even have their own weird machines just for football:

Oh god LOL I forgot about this one.

They even have a clean and deadlift MACHINE!

Next time I see the strength coach I'll be sure to let him know what a waste of money that useless thing is. I mean what does he know he only gets paid about $150k a year.

Explosive Power for Clean and Dead Lifts

With Powernetic's Power Trainer, athletes can explosively perform 12 to 15 clean lifts in 20 seconds without undue stress on the lower back. The hands are positioned behind the knees thus the hips are brought into proper alignment with the shoulders. This position safely channels the weight load into the power center of the athlete. Because of this unique function the athlete experiences both the positive and negative resistance of the clean.

Multiple Uses:

-Power Clean
-Reverse Clean
-Dead Lift
-Bench Press
-Shoulder Press
-Shrugs

By "look athletic" I mean something remotely like gymnast or 100m sprinter type physique. Somewhat natural looking no pun intended. Nothing like the thick physique bodybuilders go for.

Both gymnasts and sprinters have pretty big arms.
