I' m just glad I used paypal to pay for the keys.
I'll buy from Arenanet when I have a response off them about how to relink my GW1 account.
Anyone on here know if I can relink?
Unfortunately, it's never going to end.
Every time someone is even slightly critical of GW2, they are going to get a torrent of abuse for it. Sad really.
The only valid supplier for a retailer to obtain legit GW2 keys is Arenanet. If they source them from anywhere else, Arenanet can simply disable all those keys whether they were bought legally or fraudulently. Its not any different to account selling.
Just a few days ago, CJS were saying that Arenanet was their supplier of GW2 keys. Now they have said its a multiple supplier chain, their supplier buys from a supplier who buys from Arenanet ... what a silly mess to get themselves into.
I'm not even being overly critical or negative, I'm just discussing the ramifications that inter-zone loading screens has for the Massive feel of the in-game world. I've been pretty in-depth and I feel I've expressed well why I feel this way... yet instantly dismissed as 'trolling'. It's like talking to a 12 year old.

I am doing exactly the same, i will buy a copy once they can unlink my CJS key from my account so i can relink with a new serial key.
I am unsure if they can currently do this as i have had no reply and a few of Gaile Gray's posts and messages counteract things she has previously said. I've seen a few threads where she has said that it can be done, but i also received a message from her yesterday saying it's not something that can currently be done.
I'm waiting on the same thing. I suggest waiting a week for the Support spam post-Beta to drop-off, and then we can try and get a decent response as to how those affected by the CJS bungle can get their accounts smoothly transferred to a new key. Gaile did say that messaging Support will sort this out, but clearly at the moment they're inundated and are offering sub-par help.
Well it will in the end as a mod has already stated there will be ramifications if people do not stop with the quibbling.
It is not a torrent of abuse from multiple angles either, it's from a select few who just do not agree with each other.
It would be better for everyone if they just ignored one another.

Yup until that is the case i will not be buying another key, as i don't want to spend ages trying to get another key onto my account only to be told i can't. So i'll wait for a reply from Support to my message.
These are two replies from Gaile Gray, hence my confusion as she counteracts plenty of things she has said.
Reply 1: "Support can replace keys, yes."
Reply 2: "I should be clearer: Support can do that eventually. Not yet, they don’t have the tools, but in the future, yes"
It seems she either doesn't really know what they can or can not do at the moment, so we need Support to confirm this as otherwise there are going to be a lot of unhappy people.
I just hope that the mod doesnt decide to close the thread and deals with the 2 people who wont stop arguing with each other directly. If this was IRC they would be muted and everyone else could happily carry on.
Wait, you mean the same thing that would happen if I posted anything negative about WoW in the WoW thread? Oh right, I wonder why I dont do that then.
I made it quite clear to them from the start that I wanted a cash refund and that, if they did not comply, I would force the proceeding via PayPal. They submitted and sent me the standard spiel about "defamation lawsuits" to me. You just have to be quite direct and adamant, I guess. They're a business as well so obviously they're going to try and hang on to any money they can.
That doesn't happen at all and the WoW thread doesn't get many posts anyway.
At least you're admitting to it. Perhaps you should try and stop.
There's an awful lot to be done in 2 months, though. I'm happy to have patience
I don't think there is to be quite honest, if you expect a lot needs doing then i think you'll be very dissapointed. I'd play right now in the games current state, as i didn't find to much to be wrong with it. There is a few things could be better and a few things that do need addressing but to be honest not a lot does in my opinion.
