Graduate student Emer O'Toole from Dublin decided to stop shaving for good 18 months ago when she came to the conclusion that too much pressure is put upon women to conform to what she calls 'artificial gender norms'.

I am fortunate, my lady takes good care of herself and is blessed in that she doesn't have leg hair, has never had to shave her legs.

Btw, proper veet cream can be used, says not to, just go with the lower limit of the time, and wash off with cool water. It works very well. Used it for years.

We're conditioned to believe that hairy = man and hairless = female. As a result we certainly don't like it when reality doesn't meet those perceptions.

The armpits don't bother me so much, it's the legs. **** no on the legs. Although the armpits would be better shaved...
