What is you every day carry (EDC)?

I just can't see why you'd need any of this?

OP, how often have you had to actually use your EDC? It's not like you live in Baghdad or anything?

I'm actually loving the replies from those who have clearly not read the thread ('phone, wallet, maybe keys') compared to those who have ('Jesus Christ, this kid is going to go on a rampage and we're in the premonition stage!')

On second thoughts no, I'm not loving it.

e : kwerk would destroy him, he's vastly more experienced and prepared to deal with this kind of situation. Which in itself is frankly alarming.

Which knives are legal to carry on you as part of your EDC?

Non-locking and under 3". Plus you need a good reason.

I now carry my 2" Spiderco Grasshopper, but used to carry a SOG twitch, which I would have got into trouble for carrying, despite it being smaller.

I carry 15 knives everyday. They are however in a hard bag with zips and stuff so fairly hard to get to. I'm assuming they are legal as I'm a chef and I only carry them to work and back. Never actually been stopped though but I'm guessing I'd need some proof of where I work or something if they did stop and search me.

Phone , keys, wallet , 2" torch, 4 memory keys, inhaler, socket screwdriver with heads inside body of driver, additional set of heads, pocket amp, aaa battery's , headphones/earphones depending on mood/ what I'll be doing.

A typical American vehicle emergency kit and truck gun (not mine, just a typical example).

In order of importance.

Keys
Cash
Credit card
iPhone

Anything else I carry would be specific to the task or pastime I'm enjoying during that period of the house. I like to carry light.

Carrying a gun everyday is insane unless your required to as part of your job.
