Who has bought the Nvidia 670 cards

4GB EVGA pre-ordered at £361 before the price went up to £400.

wow i'm jelous, howd you manage that....

did the order go through?

what a great price for a great spec card and it's 4gb!, pretty much similar performance to the 680, buy another when they're cheap and you'll have a beast of a setup.

Just got myself a Windforce 670 which will be delivered tomorrow! :D

Hope i see a nice improvement from a 5870. First time going to Nvidia too :) Now I just need to get up to 1000 posts to access the market :D With my track record it should take me.... 4 years :D

Not yet, as they are too much for me atm... I hate my HD6950 with a passion, but it will have to do me for a few weeks more, and by then, hopefully, these will have come down a bit... £250 is what I feel is a good and fair price for this round of cards, though it will be a while before they reach those prices.

I'll look forward to reading what those who have snagged one early think though.

Techpowerup have done their usual percentage graphs showing a summary across their entire benchmark list (which includes BF3, Batman:AC, Skyrim, Metro, Dirt 3, Crysis 2 etc)...

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_670/28.html

At stock clocks for both cards and at both 1920x1200 and 2560x1600 the 670 is ahead by 28% to 29% respectively.

I thought it would be a lot more than 30%. I can't justify selling a GTX 480 for £110-120? And spending a extra 200 for a 30% boost. Hopefully the AMD card's prices fall significantly as I'm happy with the 480 performance just want a cooler running card.

bought a gigabyte version 3 fan ... wondering if my case will get too hot - having issues atm with heat ... then again my h80 fans arnt working that good.

Gotta wait till next week to gather some more funds. Id sell my current cards in a heartbeat. But unfortunately i dont have a backup card to tide me over.

I'm hopefully gonna snap up an msi one next week. I was gonna get a 680 but for around a hundred notes cheaper you can't fall off with the 670 IMO.

Windforce 3X here too, depending on stock levels hope to order another and some waterblocks next week :D

I've gone 6950 CF > 7970 > 670 inside the last 6 weeks :o

Seems Helios got a huge bargain! Lucky so and so.

Windforce 670. Being delivered tomorrow.

Upgrading from 2x overclocked GTX560 Tis in SLI. Bench-wise 1x windforce 670 seems to pull slightly ahead of my current combination. OCed, the 670 quite a bit ahead in a single card configuration.
