Cancelled tv shows 2012

Revolution looks like it could be interesting although i immediately noticed that it has a bunch of teenagers as main characters which can only end in disaster.

I think Revolution will just be some JJABRAHAM tripe and probably not worth watching.

I'm going to pick up Animal Practice and Go On as some new comedies i think. See how they do. Might also pick up Chicago Fire and possibly Do No Harm, although both have the potential to be rubbish :p.

I loved Bored to Death. Totally up my alley cause I love noir stuff but even I could see that the premise had run its course. No way they could even afford to keep a cast of such caliber on these days either.

List is kind of inaccurate but, I feel, mostly justified. Breaking Bad and House are finished. As is Chuck and Desperate Housewives (been on the cards for a while now tbh). Luck wouldn't have been cancelled if it wasn't for the pressure from animal rights groups either.

Sorta surprised that Harry's Law lasted to a second season tbh.

EDIT: interesting to see that Grimm and Community get the Friday Night Death Slot. Oh well; it won't make it to another season it seems.

Epic show and totally different............ lol, like, mega super gigantic lol. Original or different it isn't. Terrible acting, awful lead, and incredibly samey as everything else. Its formulaic ****, he can find stuff, wooohooo. A lead with some "ability" that is really basically not an ability but being slightly better, with a nonsense reason for said ability, with a motley crew involving, a huge black guy who is scary but really is intelligent and eloquent, a theif kid who happens to help out and is there for some absurd reason, the cop friend... not to mention its a spin off show.

Anyway, most of the list is deserved, most of the rest expected(just the end) and only one true loss in the list, Bored to death.

As someone said its a great combination of noir and, new york hipster, and a truly fantastic cast(one of the best casts on any show for donkeys years), fantastic storys, fantastic scripts.

As said though might cost a bomb, though "most" of the actors involved are, ludicrously rich and have often lent their talent to indie films with low budgets. I'd imagine the lead, el long greek name comedian and several of the other recurring characters would actually be quite cheap to get for a show like that(if that is what it took to keep the show going).

Problem is too many guys who can and really should be doing films. The episode where he retrieves the book for the professor and saves the evil critic who had followed him, just fantastic, another favourite is him being kidnapped and a high Danson and el Greeko gearing up to get him back.

Having just finished How To Make It In America, I really hope the rumours of another network picking it up for a 3rd season come to fruition, I really enjoyed it.

I don't actually bother watching any new shows anymore until they are on at least a 2nd season, fed up of the things I like always being cancelled.

Only thing I gave a chance to this year was House Of Lies because I knew from episode 1 it would be renewed.

Hmm, Chuck wasn't cancelled either, it ended.
The tv.com page gives a better perspective.

That doesnt really say anything. From what I remember they were told that S5 would be the last one so would be wrapping things up so that it did end rather than never having an ending.

I'm hoping a short time away will see people seeing sense and bringing it back, as they will still have lots of stuff to work with and fans to please.

so annoyed when stuff i like is axed yet **** goes on forever.

Especially when some of it really is **** and gets **** ratings constantly. Guess they must still pull in lots of advertising for those slots and resales to other countries.
