Back in my late teens / early 20's we used to drop 10+ cans of Caffreys before we even went out. God only knows what my weekly intake was but I drank every night and for about a year alcohol was pretty much all I consumed and was my only real calorie source.

probably 8- 10 units on average a week.

Will have weeks at a time I don't drink a drop. Then weeks where I'll go a bender on a saturday night and get bat **** crazy.

It varies for me. Some weekends me and my mates just hang out or do something else, and other times we go out and get rogered :p I imagine on a week where I don't go out clubbing it up, I'll have maybe one or two bottles of Cider. As I get older I'm drinking much much less. I drunk lots every weekend from when I was 18 till about 20. But now I don't do it half as much.

Jut above zero on average.

My yearly unit intake is probably in the region of 20-30 units.

Varies for me, can be none in a week or could be a couple after work on the weekdays and a hefty night out on the Friday.

Voted 29+ personally

Hardly ever drink these days, i'm really not fussed anymore.

Will have the odd bottle of Corona every now and again and perhaps a whisky on special occasions.

29+ for me, actually based on what I drank yesterday it would be around 30 units.

But I drink spirits mainly so I don't think it's that bad, not compared to most people I know who would probably do this in one night.

It goes up and down. I think I've had about 30 pints this month (evenly spread over several evenings; no binges), but I haven't had any alcohol this week and probably won't do until Saturday.

A drinking buddy of mine, who is a senior IT guy at a major bank, goes through 4-6 pints at least six nights a week and often has a few glasses of whisky as a nightcap (by himself, at home); I've never seen him have a soft drink or even a glass of water. The calculator says he's on 20 units a day, so I guess liver failure is inevitable.
