The leader of the Syriza party, whose success in last month's general election has led to political paralysis in Athens and a second general election, said he wanted Greece to stay in the euro, but was fighting against capitalism. "On the one side there are workers and a majority of people, and on the other are global capitalists, bankers, profiteers on stock exchanges, the big funds. It's a war between peoples and capitalism"
Meanwhile
The head of the UK's OBR said that the deepening crisis in the eurozone could force him to tear up his forecasts, made only two months ago, that Britain would post modest growth of 0.8% this year. "The concern is that you end up with an outcome in the eurozone that creates the same sort of structural difficulties in the financial system and in the economy that we saw in the past recession, and that has consequences both for hitting economic activity in the economy, but also its underlying potential," said Chote. (The Cardigan)
Robert Chote, the chaise longue of the Office for Budget Fantasy claims that if the people win, the UK 'may never recover' . . . on the other hand if the Bankers win, everything will be absolutely wonderful.

I would suggest that we have had more than enough of the bankers, it is time to give people a chance; what say the people of OCUK? Time for a people's revolution here?

Do it, do it NOW!

Last time people listened to you it put to conservatives in government.

You sure you want people to do as you say?

OK, I'm in. What are we going to do?

well first you're going to have to start murdering policemen, and not just the odd one or two it will have to be a systematic approach to thin their numbers and also inspire fear in the rest of the force to encourage resignations.

So hit and runs, random stabbings (avoiding the vest of course), shootings if you can get the guns, burning down their houses while their families are asleep inside, nail or petrol bombing of the stations etc.

Once you've sufficiently reduced the police force you can then start having the more rowdy protests escalate to armed violence obviously thousands of civilians will be killed in the collateral damage but once the army is brought out that will only increase so you'll have to make good gains while you can.

Well that should get you started.

I guess it's too much to expect 'the people' to not be retarded idiots and understand and accept the consequences of their choices isn't it?

well in the other thread they're comparing themselves to children being offered lots of sweets and how they can't be blamed for taking it so I doubt it.

Ahh, the Gwrthiant Cymru strategy - that's done well hasn't it?

oh I'm, sorry you're one of those people who thinks a revolution happens by you all standing outside buildings with enough placards that everyone just decides to do what you say?

Well sorry but lets face it one of the most heavily armed governments on the planet is somewhat unlikely to go quietly into the night.

Revolution is a PR term for civil war, you're here telling us to fight yet quietly shying away from the bloodstained reality of what your talking about.

I'm at that point now where I just want it to collapse now if its going to, all this will it, won't it rubbish is just delaying the rebuilding process.

Capitalism is not the problem.

It's Us. We are the problem, we are the ones you elect bad governments, buy products we don't need from corporations who we know are conning us and demand instant gratification whatever the cost.

The People are the bloody problem.

as we and technology evolve we will need/want less.

How'd you figure that?

especially given that the most technologically advanced nations consume vastly more than the non technologically advanced nations.

technology requires vast quantities of resources, heck even getting the stuff we need to us takes vast sums of resources.
