What GPU for 300-350 pounds ???

If you want to stretch a bit to 380 *including delivery* you could get the Asus 7970 Direct CU II 3GB.
Awesome card and lots of overclocking headroom, great cooling and not as noisy as reference designs, plus it looks awesome to boot :D

For a single card GTX670. For the most performance 7850 Crossfire. Two 7850's will be about 20-25% faster at stock, and more so when both the 670 and 7850's are overclocked. Crossfire scaling with BF3 is very good (~90%)

Don't get the 7970 DCII, there's currently no voltage control, it's not worth 380 (Even if there was voltage control) they were recently 350 pound.
Wouldn't expect anything less from DF.

BF3 Performance

"GTX670 is 5-10% faster than a 7970 within BF3.
"7850 Crossfire is 30-35% faster than a 7970 within BF3.
"7850's also overclock by a higher percentage than both the 670 and 7970.

...but if you only want a single card, GTX670 is an easy choise.
