Does anyone know anymore about the Kepler recall rumour?

Only found a few sites reporting the rumor, all pretty much say the same thing, that this is rumor for now but Nvidia have refused to comment.

i hope its not true.

Although a part of me want to so I can change cards again provided theres a refund option

And why exactly they be recalling your working product?

As its reported to be a degradation issue, under heavy load the chip starts to fail apparently, weather or not its an all out failure or if the boost clock just starts to roll back remains to be seen.

Who knows, sit tight and enjoy your new cards.

Yeah, id prefer to see a statement directly from nvidia themselves, rather than unsubstantiated rumours.

If it's an outright denial then I suppose it's firmer ground but I'm reserving judgement here - I recall that nVidia did have an issue with an old series of GPU (6xxx?) which had a proven manufacturing fault with the GPU and they never did an official recall, they just stalled like mad, replaced actual failures only for the big box-shifters like HP and waited until the GPU went out of date.

Got a link for the nvidia statement as i have three people looking to get nvidia 680's and i want to be sure they will not have any more hassle with them then needs be because if they do i don't get a peaceful evening till they sort it out ;).
