OK - confused.
Still no announcement from Three, still no confirmation to me that my phone is or is not coming, yet a friend (who pre-ordered after me) has been told his blue handset will ship tomorrow....not sure if they meant it'll start or end it's journey as he didn't ask. Other's have said Three are not sending blue handsets out for a while, at least one person said he'll be getting his Friday.
It is a nightmare, I called Three last night and was told that they have blue in stock but there is a slight delay, would get my phone on Fri 1st June instead of 30th May.
Phoned again this morning and was told the situation was the same, will get my phone on Friday.
After hearing about Samsung recalling the pebble blues I called Three at about 14.30 this afternoon, the guy I spoke to was very helpful and confirmed it to me that the blue ones were going back due to manufacturing faults, and he could not give me a date when I would get my phone.
I switched the order to a white one which he said would be with me tomorrow or Thursday.
He said they had an email informing them of the blue issue about 40 minutes before I called.
I spoke to UK here both times.
Did you get through to a uk call centre or india?, when I called again this afternoon to change my order
from blue to white I was told by someone in indian call centre that they would have to cancel my existing
order and remake it for a white phone which I wouldn't receive until friday 8th June.
Called the number for sales on the Three website, and pressed option one.

Preordered my phone (blue) via dialaphone yesterday.
Got an email about 16:30 today telling me of the stock shortage on blue units, 2-3 week delay
Phoned them up to change my order to the white model, but even that is a 3-5 day wait (so realistically I'll need to wait over a week, until after the Jubilee). I think I basically ended up having to join the back of the queue for the white unit, despite having preordered more than 24hrs previously.
Almost tempted to cancel the order, tell Samsung they can stick their phone where the AMOLED doesn't shine, and get a HTC One X instead!
Samsung have really ****ed up this time around, very very poor from them.

I guess I am allowed to say now we have had a S3 prototype at work for a few months now and I am allowed to buy my S3 on the company account. We have been working closely with Samsung in time for launch - it has been absolutely mental! Over last few weeks I have been regularly working until 2am and getting up at 7am to get back into work. Knackered doesn't cover it!
