So I am looking at hiring a car in vegas for 2 days, all these come with unlimited mileage and need to fit 3 and a few cases (picking up from airport)

They are listed in my preference order at the moment unless I can be converted. All similar price

Option 1

Ford Mustang GT Premium

Option 2

For 3 people + luggage? get a proper car!
There aren't even back windows in the Mustang (if it is that model you get)

Well there wont be luggage all the time, it is only 5 miles or so from the airport. We are only going for a week and so we wont have bags and bags. ;)

Have a feeling you may be disappointed after having a Corvette though.

Yeah but I have to accept they are for two different purposes. The corvette was for two lads having fun.

This is to get from one end of the strip to the other, to an outlet shopping place and from the airport in something more exciting than a Kia. :D

Just worried about the cases now, damm practicalities getting in the way :(

That's a point actually we couldn't fit more than 3 full size cases in the boot of a 4 door Charger, which has presumably got a bit more boot space.

They're rubbish btw, or at least rubbish with a rental spec 2.7 V6

The problem with American cars is that they have hateful gearboxes that take a age to lock up. The lag between putting your foot to the floor and it actually going anywhere is truely comical.

Having tried the Mustang I would have gone with the Camaro

The boot and headroom put me off the Camaro, it is a beautiful car though.

How tall are you all? I'm 6ft1 and can just fit in the back of a mustang with my short wife in the front and her seat very far forward. Wasn't comfy but only did it so she could get a chance to see out of the window a bit, don't see much from the back!

Good fun though, didn't do much hooning in the V6 one we had, apart from a massive burnout in a multistory at Stratosphere late one night (immense fun) followed by getting it very sideways pulling out of the carpark onto the damp road. Don't know if it has traction control (mate and I didn't think so?) as it would slip around a lot when pushed.
