My first impression too, sounds a little more like the labyrinth though. I'll be too low level to bother with it but look forward to seeing it on youtube!

Think so updated it last night and it downloaded 83K+ files, strange
No chance they kept the same build...

Most likely we will have one, there's a few guilds already on OCUK so I'm hoping one of the existing guild-bosses steps up and forms one. Just hope it's soon after release so we're not scattered across servers!
Doesn't the WvW boost you all to the same level? I know your skills will be lacking but you'll at least stand a chance.

Yeah, but I'm more interested in trying out a few classes and won't have the time to do serious WvW exploration that's all
Yeah but it's been said you will be lacking a lot of stat bonuses and stuff, there's a huge difference in your 80 boosted wvw to your 80 boosted arena :]

Just did a drive-by GW2 Beta double click and now find myself downloading some monster 'patch', by the looks of it.

GW2 patcher wasn't working for me and sticking at 512Kb then crashing, running in XP SP3 compatibility mode sorted this though.
edit: Scrap that, not convinced it was that which fixed it. Patch servers probably just getting hammered!

the last beta session i downloaded the game, patched it and made sure everything was working the night before, which it was. when i went to play the game at the beta weekend the launcher told me that i had to download 85,000 files ( the whole game). i dont know why & because of this i wasnt able to play.
i have reinstalled the game since then and yesterday. so yesterday i loaded gw2, it had a short dl.. i assume a patch. once that was done i loaded the game, logged on to make sure it was working, all fine & good to go.
today i loaded it to see if there was more patches & it wants me to download the whole game. any ideas why its doing this?
i dont get any error or anything.

There was a large patch recently, your gw2 folder should be around 15.4 GB
