If it does, don't you think it will be the controller that pushes them over the edge?

I guess we'll find out soon enough, I just think it's far more likely that their target was to match what we see on the 360/PS3 rather than blow it out of the water.

Indeed, Or rather I'm guessimating the "RAW POWER" to be slightly above the 360, but coupled with Nintendo's effienciecy in coding that the games will look a fair bit smoother and maybe better textures etc.

But as you say, not exactly blowing it out of the water.

Do we know where the processing for the screen is done? Is it seperate to the main cpu/gpu?
 
I think it's their art style more than anything else that makes their games look good. Look at Mario Galaxy, that's a genuinely great looking game purely based on the visual style. We'll definately see some very nice looking games now they have more to play with.

Bright, lush and vibrant colours of the rainbow spectrum.

What some people call as cartoony I will take it as good and healthy for my own eyes.

Too many shooters with their dull browns, greens and greys is bad. :D

Yeah considering Galaxy can look like this when upscaled, I can't wait to see proper HD titles.

People are saying this was the highlight of E3 and game looked amazing. But I wonder if that's said because of the graphics. Don't want be this be a Infinity Blade on the iPad situation, people say how good the game is. When really the graphics are good but the gameplay isn't.

I care more about gameplay than looks. I saw the video on a 360p feed so the graphics didn't jump out at me when I first saw it. I see your point though.

AFAIK, yes. Sony are calling it "instant game collection".

You get them all now, then there's another game slot currently occupied with Virtual Fighter 5 that changes each month.
