Marvel Vs Capcom 3

Did anybody watch ECT4 last night/this morning? That was one of the best Marvel tournaments I've ever seen, some crazy good stuff. Can't wait to start playing again now =D
 
Marvel is 100000 times a better game than SFxT it could never go that way :P I haven't played fighting games in general in a few months I just made myself sick of them, I'm getting the itch to play again now. I'm sure Hyv is still playing he's always looking to reach new levels of trolling people with annoying teams, not sure about Artheas. Malachi do you have this for 360? I'd be up for a set later if you are.
 
its hard to find randoms sometime but in general you should be able to find some matches in player match.

my new team is not designed to troll this time. its for all out destruction:)
 
the CEO stream is on. just saw f.champ playing some noob and he almost got randomed out by xfactor. this is exactly how i feel when i play noobs:(
 

Apparently people have found ways to do it from all side and up TACs too. It's going to be funny seeing how many people get blown up for this in tournaments cause they'll be trying so hard for it.
 
wow nova, modok, sentinel, iron man and even phoenix has a infinite too. every one of them is not too hard except iron man and modok.

the salt is going to be so high at evo. i dont think i will be practising them though
 
The FGC seems to be really celebrating these TAC infinites, I don't agree at all. If people actually become proficient at these I feel like matches are going to become very linear and boring, it'll probably stop people looking for other tech aswell. I might feel differently if only 1 or 2 characters could do it but a large majority of the cast can do it.
 
Team Aerial Combo, if you're in the air and in the middle of a combo you can hit S along with a directional input to do a team aerial combo it just switches your next partner in and they can add to the combo. Depending on the direction you hit it can have different effects like gaining you a meter or taking a meter away from the opponent.
 
these infinites are stupid with the right team and i will tell you why.

lets say you have a team of firebrand, dante, x-23. as soon as you land a hit firebrand, you drag them into the corner with the wall bounce move and exchange into dante or x-23 into infinite.

lets say you finish the combo, you will kill that character and have 5 bars. hard tag x-23 and go for the unavoidable and unblockable dirt nap with jam session. xfactor and kill that character and you should finish with at least 3 bars. do it again and you win.

dante infinite is quite hard but nova and magneto is probably the easiest. a slightly more escapable version of this is use strider instead of x-23 so you can have a more flexible team and orbs your way to a win. have fun.
 
Two games in one, what a sweet deal.

Gonna be nice listening to some of the character themes in their original states again, and of course, re-develop epilepsy.

The earlier games just hurt my eyes.

So if they re-do the earlier Marvel Vs, games, would be nice to see something like the SF Alpha/Zero series in the future getting the same treatment.
 
if there is enough interest, as usually i will do a small tourney. if that happens i might dig out my old team of war machine and strider
