That many faulty GPUs is not normal, sounds like something is wrong with your setup or your really unlucky.
Well one of my EVGA GTX 670 SC 4gb should show up today, ill take a quick photo of the back of the card to see if its a shorty PCB
I have one and it is the reference pcb (the short one)
Indeed it is a shorty, little worried it be louder than the 2gb EVGA GTX 680 is replacing
i only found them audible over 65% fan speed.
What I can't understand is the difference in vram usage changes very little between 2D and 3D surround presuming I didn't do something wrong is less than 70 mb.Could someone explain this please?![]()
VRAM usage isn't increased by playing in 3D.

So seems like 2gb cards would be enough for single monitor setup? What you gonna do now mate, wait for 4gb 680 ?
