Is it only me that's irritated by this pretentious statement?

Sent from my phone - Fine.

Sent from my iPhone means it was sent from a phone, but not an ordinary phone, no it's an iPhone. I'VE GOT AN IPHONE.

Apple products can't be called normal products it seems, oh no, they have to be called iSomething, just to shove it under people's noses that they've got an Apple whateveritis.

Haha i delete it unless im in a rush.

Apple snobbery. Hate it. Great product though.

Usually it's the default signature in certain mail clients.

Samsung SIII shipped with signature turned on stating Sent from Galaxy or words to that effect. I always turn them off, but it's easy to not realise they are there!

Anyone who intentionally sets and/or leaves them there is a numpty though :D

Well, I wouldn't get an IOS device because I prefer Android - actually I think I might go Windows phone, I still like Windows. My SGS2 is better for me than an iPhone would be, however I don't have any real time for people saying one device is better than the other. People have preferences, and at any point in time it depends on what the last released phone was etc...

I just don't like the snobbery, and name dropping...

Same with anything really.

Sent from my iPad

Sent from my Blackberry Wireless Device

Sent from my HTC

I know with Blackberry you can turn it off (or specify your own). Don't see why its so important that everyone knows! Anyone who hasn't turned it off makes me assume they're not so good with technology.

But how else am I supposed to subtlety tell people I'm better than them?

Well, for most people I don't think there's an option. For you I don't think it's really necessary as everybody already knows it deep inside. Talking to you is a constant reminder of how misshapen and malformed I am, both inside and out.

My Galaxy S3 says "sent from a Samsung device" Doesn't bother me at all,

I did laugh once though when someone sent me an email and they had edited it to say "sent from my iPhone 4"

Its just people trying to show that they are special and unique like the apple adverts says. Millions of unique people using identical handsets.
Really, does anyone care what you use? I dont even notice those lines anymore.

-Sent via Windows Mobile

iPhones automatically add this to emails, regardless, why does it matter? Would you care if I said 'sent from my HTC One'?

It's not snobbery, see above.

No it isn't, that's your misinformed perception of it.

Why do some people think iPhone users have this air of superiority and smugness about them? It's a phone? Who cares? Any retard can go out and buy one.
