Do you play lots of games at a time or focus on one?

I fluctuate massively :p

Sometimes I will not stop playing a game (like I did with civ 5 recently), sometimes I will play too many games at the same time, then I will end up bored and not wanting to play anything :/

Typically I focus on one game until it is completed or I get stuck/bored. I also chain sequels together e.g. playing Dragon Age, Dragon Age Awakenings, Dragon Age 2, Dragon Age 2 Legacy etc in a row.

I think focussing on one game at a time helps because it doesn't get so confusing when it comes to controls, aiming, game mechanics, following the plot etc.

Typically I focus on one game,
I mean i got my new pc just for battlefield 3,
I knew it was coming out and that my old system would not run it,

With that being said i have ordered a few games from i got BF3 but not been on them much.

Normally only 1-2 games. I can't find enough time for gaming anyway, so why should i spread my time between too many games. At he moment I focus on playing BF3 and Skyrim.

My main game at the moment is Alan Wake which I play the most. If I don't have a lot of time then I have 4-5 other titles that I use, like payday, counter strike, warband... . So for me it's one main game that I play to complete and when time is short the others nicely fill the gap.

If a game is good enough, you wont want to play anything else till you've finished it.

I'm currently playing through Resident Evil 4 , despite it being a lousy port, the actual game itself is great, 6hrs in so far, and I've not wanted to look at anything else.

Funnily enough, i find managing your inventory oddly compelling, having to decide what to carry and what to ditch is quite engrossing..:)

I used to be terrible at this - trying to play 10 games at once, now I stick to 3 of different genres, generally an MMO, an FPS/RTS and a single player game. I work through the single player games one at a time, finishing each before moving on, I play the FPSes/RTSes until I get bored of them or want a change and the MMO right now is Rift. It works well, I have plenty of different games to choose from when I'm gaming but all the games I have are now getting played a lot more than they were.

I get bored easily so I find it difficult to stick to one game and generally alternate between a few games. I usually only stick to one game if it has a really good story and i want to finish it.

I try to stick to one game per genre, right now I have DayZ as my shooter, RPG and simulation with Rune as my action hack n slash. Got a few in my indie genre though, but that's because there are so many quality titles. :)

i have a number of games i play some ive finished before and am playing through again, some ive had installed for eons and only played in small sessions. Others ive installed and not played once.

And then once in a while a game comes along which sucks up all my time to the extent that i play through a night without realising what time it is :D

I have always concentrated on one game at a time since I started gaming. Over recent years I have concentrated even more on my favourite genre which is war mil/sims/games. I have focused a lot on the Arma series and at present that’s Arma 2.
I got heavily into the ‘Editor’ of the game and make missions and scenarios for it, that for me has become as enjoyable as the gaming itself. So yes, over the past few years one at a time really..
:)

.

I try and finish 1 while playing 1 game that can't be finished (such as a racing game or fifa) and wow so I have a choice but atm I'm trying to finish 2-3 games before buying a new one.
