Riiiiiiight...

I was at least expecting a bike wildly out of control with some sort of epic save not just a bike going round corners
 
It is frankly quite astonishing the level of grip that can be achieved through a contact patch less than the area of a credit card. Physics lying though? lolstockhousen.

Wish I was at the GP today, good luck to all the British lads racing throughout the classes.
 
I think he's implying that it's easy to win a MotoGP because physics does a lot of the work for you.

What happened to Britboy anyway? He was a *****.
 
When I first read the title I expected lolhausen had discovered some Daily Mail article that claimed in some ludicrous way to have disproved something.

I was ready to rage at his stupidity once again.

However now I see it's just yet another useless stockhausen thread with no substance. I'm surprised he hasn't blamed the riders lack of tax paying for his ability to ride round corners quickly.

So what is it about the coefficient of friction, centripetal force or anything else that you're attempting to illustrate? At the moment it looks as if you're simply pointing to well known and well understood concepts - if that's all the content there is then it's maybe worth adding to the random video thread or otherwise deleted.

Surely the video is an example of the truth of physics? All of the things happening are physics in action from the conversion of chemical energy to kinetic energy and heat in the engine to the balancing of all the competing forces in the corners.

Nice video but utterly pointless thread.

So basically stockhausen has never watched the GP before and has seen a bit of elbow/shoulder down and his mind has exploded?
