So jellybean looks like it could be announced. Wonder what new goodies they will bring ( Personally I am hoping for a cheap tablet)

Was there not strong rumors of a cheap tablet to compete against the kindle fire?

I'm wondering what people are hoping Jellybean will bring, I haven't used ICS myself yet but from what I've heard it isn't really missing any key features. Also am I right in thinking that there won't be any changes to the UI since it's just a 0.1 update?

That is what I am hoping for, I can pick one up in the US when I go later this year.

UI looks very similar from the screenshot. I am not really sure what they could offer me as I think ICS is damn near perfect.

I thought the same as well.

It was either mrk or Robbo or someone that told me that as I said the exact same thing as Kona, it will only be a minor upgrade like 2.2 to 2.3.

They have a good UI now, so they probably wont change it as drastically as they did from 2.3 - 4.0.

I'm betting that they just make some slight adjustments so that most places are consistent with their ICS UI, update some of their apps and introduce maybe their voice assistant and hopefully some type of API to do with Drive so that settings can be backed up. Along with maybe a couple of other new features :)

There's no reason to believe that JB would be a significant upgrade over ICS. It'll be just like moving from 2.1 to 2.2 - some decent changes, but the UI should remain mostly the same.

I am, however, massively looking forward to it. It will be interesting to see what Google will do to make Android even more awesome.

Well actually, since we have the version number of Jelly Bean, we should know it definitely wont be a major UI revamp.

Yeah I thought the same as well before mrk or whoever it was told me that! There is no way they will revamp the UI this soon especially as ICS has really made a huge difference and all the expert reviews sites etc. love it.

Hope to see some cool new google apps/features though!

It'll be interesting to see what they add, ICS is pretty featurefull as it is...

(better) Integration into either Drive and/or Google+ would be nice to have, probably a few other nice tweaks here and there but can't really think of any big features they could add, they could well surprise me though :p

The nexus tab could be interesting as well, a proper play towards cheap smaller tablets, hopefully without being 'hindered' by the attempts by Amazon to lock it in and also the limited availability of the fire...
