Which Assassins Creed am I missing?

The last one I played was Brotherhood, is it Revelations I need and is it worth playing if I enjoyed the others or does it get a bit samey?

AC -> AC2 -> AC:Brotherhood -> AC:Revelations -> AC3

I believe that's the order.

Where does it say that he did that? He only asked for the next in the series, which is Revelations. Defo worth playing although the story is short.

AC1 is the best the others are just effectively mods/map packs. This series is still stuck in 2008 on PC..............

Please, PLEASE note that this is how they have been developed:

AC1 > AC2 > AC3

Brotherhood and Revelations (not that great) were done by different teams and not a main part of the 3 main games. AC3 has been in development since AC2 came out as well

Brotherhood and Revelations are still good imo - waiting for Revelations to pop up in a Steam sale

brotherhood was very disappointing however Revelations is much better, imo. Roll on AC3

I think I'll wait until I find a cheaper copy but will definitely get it played before AC3

Wait until the steam sale next week, sure they will be in the sale due to AC3 coming. I am going to buy the lot, only got AC2 on steam. But want the set

What am I missing with these games?

I just find them boring, the gameplay lets get this right is "go here, kill this guy" and all you have to do to find said guy is hold a button down and do acrobatic stunts.

Sorry but it just sounds like the least gamey thing ever, at least in Hitman the gameplay can be quite creative and making you think of umpteen ways of killing a mark.

I just don't get AC, is it meant to be like a movie more than a game? Like a movie you get to play? Ah wait, the story is psychobabble stupid stuff.

Help me "get" these games please.

Not saying I don't like FPS (I do), but I get bored after some time. With AC or other adventure (not the multiplayer) I usually just mess around in the free roam
If BF3 had a free roam, then I would play that all day
