Really unsure which 670 to go for

MSI 670 Power Edition
Gigabyte windforce
KFA2 EX OC

Reference EVGA ?

Not interested in overclocking, just want to plug in and play BF3 :D Also Planetside 2 when it comes :)

Play on a single 32" screen @ 1080p 60hz
15 2500k @ 4.5

I wonder if the extra money for anything over the reference is a waste for me

Any insight would be great  Thanks.

As long as you stay away from the single fan coolers than you will be fine as they are very noisy .

I have a gigabyte windforce cooler and highly recommened them.

Your get better thermals and quieter operation from the custom cooled cards like the KFA2 EX OC and Gigabyte windforce.

I have a windforce. Its ver quiet, cool and powerful.

I've got the EVGA 670 blower and at 65C/65% 1201mhz boost it's very quiet

the basic EVGA card has a bigger heatsink and different single fan which are both an improvement over other "reference" 670's

I've read that the GTX680 waterblocks fit the GTX670 Windforce cards. Can anyone confirm this?

I'd also like to know this.

As for the WindForce 670s, I'm unimpressed. They run hot and are noisy.
Haven't used any other 670s, so can't really comment on their performance.

I'm quite tempted to switch to the EVGA 4GB Superclocked variety.
