Children at work?

What is it with Parents bringing their kids into work to show around? It just seems to annoy me.

I presume its because I'm a guy as all the women are huddling around.

Do you think this should be done or not?
 
No certainly not, it winds me up when people bring their kids in. Especially if they're old enough to be annoying and run around climbing under desks!

I hate this.

I've worked in two offices full of women. They bring them in to show them off, and when they walk in the room all the girls leap to their feet and coo over the kid while I sit there seething.

It makes the women look like hormone-controlled robots. Baby sighted/must move towards baby/must express noises of appreciation and envy/must plan to have more babies/must spawn must spawn must spawn, spawn sequence engaged, become fat, wear flat shoes, cut hair.
 
Lol, some people are actually friendly with their work colleagues, but not so much so that they would actually visit their houses, so this is the only way they could meet their kids.

You grumpy old beggars :p

I'm sure people do it for a sympathy vote. 'Please don't sack me i have children to feed'

PS. Women shouldn't be in the office, they should be in the kitchen.
 
The one that is wandering round the office right now with her mother and her mother has not done any work for over an hour. Does her manager not care? ( manager is a women)
 
Love thos, grumpy gits who cant ignore a baby or a child.

Dont like it get your head down and work instead of concentrating on everyone else, and don't give the bull story of "it's distracting".
