How much do you spend on food at work ?

About £10 a day, but that includes coffee.

£3.90 for a large bowl of granola and yoghurt with a large cappuccino for breakfast an then lunch is a curry or similar and a portion of fruit.

About 3pm I'll then have another cappuccino or a macchiato and I'll probably have a flapjack or similar.

Company provides a £5 allowance for lunch. So I can choose to be healthy...or not.

A mate works for Google in London - they get free food and drink. They even get Sushi!

I used to spend £5-10 a day on lunch but have been cutting back on that a lot recently as I was really eating to much. Take sandwiches and a thermos of cold green tea now and probably end up spending ~£10 a week on misc bits.

I've recently been looking at the monthly amounts of my daily spends on random items and it's really surprising how much it can add up.

Between £3-20 a day depending on what I have. Fridays are normally a pub lunch an the rest of the days anything from self made sandwich to soup and bread for lunch. Occasionally something from a cafe nearby for about £5.

We get free proper Coffee and Tea (not that I drink them...) and a fruit bowl at work so I have lots of that for snacks.

EDIT: Unfortunately because I can't eat normal bread even bringing in food from home (rather than buying it at a supermarket daily) is going to cost me £3 minimum so...

3 days a week I go to the gym in the morning so have breakfast in the office canteen, but it's very cheap, something like 30p for 2 poached eggs and some mushrooms!!

Lunch is free, so in summary not much!

We have a staff canteen which is subsidised. Excellent 12" subway baguettes for £2.10-£2.50. Main meals are £1.80-£2.75 and a roast meal can be had for £3.50 all-in. Afters are always £1.20. The only thing there that is expensive are cans of pop which is 75p each, but you can get free water from their cold water dispenser.

As for me, I usually take my own sarnies in 2-3 days a week and use the canteen on the other 3-2 days.

Tesco Garage - 2x Diet coke + Chic&Bacon sub = £5.50

Subway - 12" BMT + Diet coke + 6x double choc cookies = £7

Afternnon random shop - Bottle or 2 fizzy n chocolate ~£3

£15.50 + on friday a stop with another driver at MacD so another £5 there

Didnt realise so much esp when add 20+ fags a day...
