Morning all.

I all of the sudden have a massive urge to play Theme Park! Does anyone know of a place I can get hold of this?

Also can anyone recommend any other sim type games? I heard the latest sim city is good?

Ta

I play theme park all the time. Somehow nothing has come close! If you still have the cd somewhere then I use DosBox to run it with few issues. Otherwise I'm not sure if its covered by abandonware yet?

See thats the thing, out of all the features of Theme Park I enjoyed building roller coasters the least lol. i get the distinct impression that thats mostly what RCT is

well i prefer RCT 1 and 2 than 3, not a lover of 3D.

the games not all about coasters but if you dont like building them you can download pre built coasters that ppl have built or pre built coasters that are in the game, but coasters aren't that hard to build really, most rides you just place and add objects to make them more exciting etc, and you can also build rides like log flume and river rapids plus loads of other rides like haunted house and merry go round etc.

this vid shows the first park in RCT1. 6 mins in he build a pre built coaster.

Go to gog.com and you can find Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 and 2 and Theme Hospital for around a fiver and they work fine on Windows 7. Dosbox with your original cd/floppies will also be good.

All great comments and I have never even seen this gog.com site before...

Im still trying to decide what to put my money on tho, I want a good sim game! :D

If you have Theme Hospital, check out Corsix TH, an open source remake of the game. Not finished yet, but well on the way there!
