I currently am waiting on my gcse results, Then provided I get what I need I will go on to study Networking and systems support at leeds city college, On the course you also do your ccna and another cisco qualification.

Hoping to become a server technician, network engineer, network admin.

I have 2 A levels (D) and a 2.1 Economics degree

I had no career plan and still don't know what to do with my life and i'm 24 I work in operations/distribution currently

Personally I think you have got a good head on your shoulders thinking about this at your age I hope you succeed in IT

Working on my CCSA/E at the moment. I'd like to go back to College and take a Maths A-Level at one point, just don't have time at the moment. Maybe one day do a degree (OU or somesuch)

Want to move on to do a computer security and forensics degree of some form at uni. Currently researching it. Had a thread on it a few days back.

look to get relevant experience as soon as possible, the college will have IT so just ask the IT manager and volunteer to do anything

Solid advice. The biggest problem you'll have trying to get a job is that most places want demonstratable (sp?) experience - even for starting on a Helpdesk. Get some industry certs under your belt, something basic from MS as it shows you're interested and able to learn, then volunteer

I have 2 really good opportunitys like this In about a year, One is My dad's friend works at cable and wireless, Who rarely do work experience, But He says He should be able to get me a couple weeks there, My mum knows a couple of people too so hopefully Ill being able to get some nice and early on.
