any 1 using aida64 to stress test?

Yes, I am.

Decided to drop IBT and stick with Prime and Aida64.

Using Aida initially, and then backing up results with Prime, because not used Aida before, and wanting to verify it's ability.

Seems as good as Prime for memory testing.

Not 100% sure on CPU testing though.

wonder if my ram is causing bsod then

just swapped my ram out for some kingston hyper x, still getting blue screens!

only get blue screen when using over 1.23 volts grrrrrrrrr dont want to waste money on a new board if its the cpu, and vise verser

can any 1 explain this lol.

4.7ghz 47x100 1.224vcore been running aida for 18mins
4.7ghz 47x100 1.28vcore fails aida/prime/ibt instantly bsod 0x124 ??????
42x100 1.28 fails
40x100 1.28 fails
35x100 1.28 fails

the higher i set my vcore the more unstable my system becomes.

tried bios update, all energy saving features on/off, turbo on/off , upping SA/ i/o /mem voltages, different ram seepds, 1333mhz,1600mhz,1866mhz, XMP on/off, 1stick of ram in each slot, different ram, different stress test software.

when i first got my motherboard i updated my bios, which corrupted first time i've ever encountered problems updating bios in 10 years also first time using msi board !!

wondering if that could be playing apart in my vcore war. i've tried everything.. apart from changing board or cpu.

I remember reading about someone having issues when pushing past a certain vcore on msi board.

Not sure if it was you.

Maybe the VRM's are running too hot or something? Dunno...

more then likely me, been whinging about it for a while xD

i think i've had enough, time to change the board. going to pop to my local shop and pick up a sabertooth, if i encounter the same issue i'll return it and pay a restocking fee.

Try disabling C-states too. I've had issues with them on my P55 motherboard.

sorry, yes tried upping and lowering ppl, ppl overvoltage on/off.

the board only has phase control auto or disabled tried both

and setting vdroop control auto 0%/50%/100%

seems msi bios is much different to gigabyte/asus boards..

Installed coretemp, and according to that, my VID at 4.8 is 1.1559V

Edit: yes, I know this isn't a finished run. I wanted to demonstrate what it looks like under load - for a completed ibt run, click the link 3 posts up.

Indeed as other guy said, low gigaflops........ I get 108.xxx at 4.7Ghz so somethings wrong with your setup

What is stock for your memory?

Mine is Samsung Green, so 1600 11-11-11-28-2t

You got same memory?

Last time I looked in IBT (which is not a benchmark) I was getting around 112/113 with 4.9GHz.

Think the memory was at 2000 at that time.
