Is there any tax, and if it's a 2 kg parcel, how much would it be? (My mum is buying more clothes. :))

Well a taxi to Ipswich from Norwich cost me £50 a few weeks ago, so a taxi from Pakistan would be approximately £46464638838000 I think

Have a look at any one of the numerous thread on the forum about tax on importing things.

- The fact that it is from Pakistan is only important to the extent that it from outside the EU. Tax implications are the same as if it is from anywhere else outside the EU.
- Weight of the package means nothing, what is important is the value and what it is for duty/vat rates.

If its being sent by a courier just tell them to charge all the customs fees within the delivery charge, FedEx and DHL will be able to do that. UPS may ask the receiver to pay.

As for taxes, off the top of my head, the most yiu should be charged is 20% of the value of the goods, so probably won't be much at all.
