We wouldn't want you to be melancholy now, would we?
Awesome - with a bit of melancholy over how badly the series ended

Melancholy isn't an altogether bad thing, not all of the time.
We wouldn't want you to be melancholy now, would we?
Yes, terrible attempt at spelling, my bad.
Also you are quite right I am vacant. Middle English, from Anglo-French, from Latin vacant-, vacans, present participle of vacare to be empty, be free.
I am not vacant enough, in at least one of the ways you suggest to not know, the freedom that I am refering to, you understand.![]()
My indifference towards you has waned and I will try to keep my pride at bay, lest I should fall.
Does it crackle out of all the speakers or a single speaker?
If it's all of them then it's most likely dust in the volume pot.![]()
OCUK gets invited to talk about the signature by the poster above them
Some don't have signatures
1/3 posts are as the OP intended
1/3 of posts diagnose a problem with speakers
1/3 of posts are an argument about a topic from a different thread that dissolved into language semantics almost immediately.
I love this place![]()
The woman in the red dress. I designed her. She, um...well she doesn't talk very much, but...but if you'd like to meet her, I can arrange a much more personalized meeting.
I am literally quivering with excitement about the novel which is mentioned in your sig. It's on my Christmas list.
However I do feel the thread would be better without the negative feelings I'm developing from jmc007's posts.
Indeed. Although I am in a playful mood so have indulged him a little....
Time to return to the thread and the humorous intentions that magnolia had when he created it....![]()
"Raiding is so intense I wear Nappies and a Helmet" seems entirely apt given your last post....![]()

It's so uncomfortable.
Kissing is the least of your problems....where are her hands and what are they doing????
Frakin' toaster![]()
You clearly know a lot more about speakers than me.
Why would they start crackling randomly constantly? My SP2200s are dicking around![]()
If you also are aware the verb vacare is derived from the word vacant, then you should also know, that it's a present active infinitive of vacō, be free. You are aware that the etymology of Vacant in English is from the Old French Vacare.....now I realise that you have gone away and googled a dictionary (although i hate to inform you but the 'be free' refers only to the context of something being empty, as an office or room being available), but if you knew anything about lingustics you would know that the Latin Vacantum and its relative Vanus informs the context of each subsequent derivative.....in this case you are agreeing that not only are you vacant, as in empty, but also devoid of any value and if we follow the etymolgy to its modern English equivalent....you are effectively saying that you are a vain and devoid of thought....and I entirely and unequivocally agree with you.....![]()
Aside from the fact that your indifference is directly contrary to your initial and unwarranted attack on my character, I would say that your last statement is prophetic at the very least.![]()
