ACTA rejected by European Union vote.

European Parliament has rejected the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement, by a heady 478 to 39 votes. While this doesn't mean ACTA can't become a reality elsewhere, it's a smack in the face for companies looking to crack down on internet-based copyright infringement.

The more I see the EU stick it to US corporate interests the more I think that this whole economic collapse is simply economic warfare and the US trying to destroy the EU, if Europe was not united most countries within it would have simply rolled over and signed these into law.
